Fraser Island
Situated a short cruise from Hervey Bay, World Heritage listed K'gari (Fraser Island) is the highlight of the Fraser Coast, and one of Queensland's top adventure destinations. At 124km long this unique island is the largest sand island in the world and boasts an abundance of protected sea life, wildlife, and birds.

Great Sandy Straits
Separating Fraser Island from the mainland is the Great Sandy Marine Park where some of our most popular tours explore.
The straits are a protected natural marine environment of international importance. Many rare or endangered species such as dugong, shark, and shorebirds inhabit these unique wetlands alongside the more common turtles, dolphins, and migrating birds.
This area of the Fraser Coast is also steeped in history and culture, much of which can only be experienced from the water due to the inaccessibility of parts of the coast and Fraser Island. Mary River
Whilst the Great Sandy Straits offer up a bounty of aquatic life to discover none of this would be possible without the Mary River which creates the strait as it empties into the Pacific, just south of Hervey Bay.
The river itself is home to many species of marine life, wildlife, and birds including the endangered Mary River Turtle. Other species that inhabit the Mary River include the rare Dugong and crocodiles!
